Chocolate Zuchini Cake

Zucchini keeps the cake moist while a scattering of chocolate chips (or chocolate pyramids) and chopped walnuts add texture and dimension.
Ingredients
Cake
1/2 cup butter
1/2 vegetable oil
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups flour
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups grated zuchini
Topping
1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup brown sugar mixed. (¾ cup chopped walnuts, optional)
Preparation
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl mix all dry ingredients except sugar until well combined (flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt)
in a large bowl or stand mixer mix butter, oil and sugar until well combined and creamy.
Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla and mix to well combined.
Add in dry ingredients and mix until well combined
Stir in grated zuchini.
Pour into prepared 9 by 13 baking dish.
Sprinkle topping over cake batter
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
