The Cosmos Is Alive And You Are But A Cell In The Mind of God

As you view the distribution of galaxies in the Universe. Each shining pixel is a galaxy of perhaps a hundred billion suns. We are part of this web.

Humans are not something that was deposited into the cosmos from outside. Humans grew up from the stuff of the Earth. The elements in our bodies were manufactured inside stars that exploded billions of years ago and spread their seeds across the universe.

Conscious awareness grew from the star-stuff of those ancient dying suns. Carl Sagan said, "We are a way for the universe to know itself." Look at the sky. Look at the stars. They are your cousins, looking back at you.

There's a reason all societies see gods and spirits in the stars and planets above them, and in the rocks and trees and rivers surrounding them and beneath their feet. Those ancient peoples were on to something. The Cosmos is alive, and you are but a cell in the mind of God.

·       The universe is about 13.8 billion years old

·       Earth has been around about 4.5 billion years

·       Humans have lived on Earth about 200,000 years

·       Writing was invented about 5200 years ago

·       America came into being less than 250 years ago

We are the wealthiest nation on Earth. We are the world's oldest democracy. We live better than 95% of humanity. We each will be here, at most, around 100 years. Make your brief stay in this vast Cosmos worthwhile.

If there is a god or a goddess or many of each will he, she, it or them like what you've done?
